Patina Patina PatinaMiller was the lead Player In the Broadway version of Stephen Schwartz's famous 1972 musical "Pippin". Produced by Tony Award-winning Director Diane Paulus, and also starring Matthew James Thomas, Andrea Martin and Terrence Mann, "Pippin" received the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical at the 67th Annual Tony Awards. Patina changed the role of Ben Vereen. She is an actor with a Tony Award. She also masterfully mastered the Fosse's moves, which are essential to the musical. The performance of Patina earned her an Tony Award in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role Musical. The Outer Critics Circle Award was also presented for Outstanding Actress. The actress previously played the role of the Lead Player in the American Repertory Theater production of "Pippin" in the month of December 2012 through January 2013. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
